All driver guides are enrolled in our internal mentoring program and are required to attend compulsory scheduled continuing education programs. We do this because we understand that besides our guests, the driver guides are the second most important part.

For those travellers with specific dietary preferences or allergies, our chefs have a list of alternate tasty options that can easily be prepared to ensure that even the most discerning food critic or sensitive stomach will be delighted. The only thing our chefs ask is that they are given notice prior to safari so they can adequately prepare.

JUNIOR CHEFS AND CAMP HANDS – HELPING THE HOMELESS

Knowledge and experience is aparted to the team of junior chefs and camps hands by our senior chefs in our own internal mentouring program. Junior chefs and camp hands are taken under the wing of senior chefs and safari guides, shown the ropes and so play an integral part in the future growth and evolution of SafariHQ. Our Arusha Director, Mashaka is well known for his kindness and this is re ected in his willingness to help those less fortunate. Many of our young camp hands and junior chefs came from the streets of Arusha and have been taken in and mentored by Mashaka and the SafariHQ team. We are very proud of this achievement and believe that it fosters a great working culture right across our team.
